Plugged in and used with Penoff software it worked perfectly and allowed simple changes to the (originally imperfect) settings to get the most out of my 250W Bafang motor
Fitted both BBS01 and BBSHD motors and allowed me to modify the cadence on the 01 and to lower the power on the 750w BBSHD to conserve battery power and to make both motors more ridable.
This program cable was simple to use and allowed customisation of the of the system to be more helpful to operate.
As usual purchasing items from Cap Rouge is always outstanding and very efficient.
Looks a bit crude but does the job well. The actual part I got is not quite as pictured, but that doesn’t really matter.
The irony that to my understanding, changing the settings can void your motor warranty so be cautious in what you do with it.
Needed if you want to update the bafang motor firmware or change basic settings. Easy to use. You can also change some settings using an EggRider controller if you don’t want to use the programming cable.
Great for changing the parameters to make the ride smooth. I used it to dial down the low assist settings and its makes it great for the slow speed stuff.
