Shipping Policy
1. Shipping Method – Lithium Batteries
Due to Australian transport regulations, lithium batteries can only be shipped by road freight within Australia. All lithium battery shipments are sent via:
- Australia Post (Road Freight)
- TNT Road Services (Road Freight)
Air freight is not permitted for lithium batteries.
2. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location and courier operations.
Australia Post – Road Freight:
- East Coast (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, ACT): Approximately 3–7 business days
- All other Australian regions: Approximately 6–14 business days
Express Shipping (Where Available): Express services via Australia Post, TNT, or Aramex may reduce delivery times and are typically around half the timeframe of standard road services, depending on location.
Please note that delivery times are outside the control of Cap Rouge. Delays may occur due to courier networks, weather conditions, regional routes, or peak periods.
3. Shipping Delays
Once an order has been dispatched, Cap Rouge is not responsible for courier delays. Delayed parcels are outside our control and express shipping fees are non-refundable in the event of courier delays. If a parcel appears significantly delayed, customers may contact us and we will assist in lodging an enquiry with the courier.
4. Pickup Only Items
Some products available on our store are designated as pickup only and are not eligible for shipping. This applies to items such as automotive and marine batteries, due to their size, weight, or transport restrictions.
- Pickup-only items cannot be shipped to a delivery address
- These items must be collected from the nominated pickup location
- Pickup details will be provided after checkout
- Orders containing pickup-only items cannot be combined with shippable items for delivery
- If your cart contains a pickup-only product, only pickup options will be available at checkout
5. Redelivery & Failed Delivery Attempts
Any TNT redelivery fees resulting from missed deliveries, incorrect delivery details, or failure to collect from depot will be the customer's responsibility.
6. Signature on Delivery
All orders are shipped with Signature Required by default. If ATL (Authority to Leave) is requested, customers must email info@caprouge.com.au before dispatch with clear written instructions. Once ATL is approved and the parcel is delivered, Cap Rouge is not responsible for loss or theft.
7. Stolen or Missing Packages
Cap Rouge is not liable for stolen packages once delivery has been confirmed by the courier. If tracking confirms delivery, responsibility transfers to the recipient and replacements or refunds will not be issued. Proof of delivery will be supplied upon request.
8. Returns & Shipping Costs
All returns incur a 10% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping costs must be paid by the customer.
