I was recommended by a local bike shop to Contact Cap Rouge for my Joycube eBike Battery as I could not find a replacement battery. I placed the order and was notified that it was on its way the same day. I received the battery in Perth quicker than anticipated.

This battery was a like-for-like replacement of a Phylion battery that was faulty from the start. Unfortunately it was out of warranty and the bike retailer was not much help.
So, let's hope this one goes the distance. From early indications it is performing better that the original.
I have tried to get 1 of these batteries for years now, but the one store yosepower would not deliver to Australia. I decided to check again recently and discovered an Australian reseller. It was about 200 bucks extra but can deliver to me. I have tested the battery performance and am very happy with it. I was expecting a charger to be delivered with it but it came with battery only.
So I just used my original charger and tested charging the battery ok.
For 670 bucks for just a new battery, I guess I'm happy. If you have an XDS bike I recommend this battery.
It was so good to be able to get back on my bike again. The battery arrived promptly and after fully charging the unit, was able to connect and off we went. Yes the price is steep but I enjoy the comfort of my current bike and was cheaper than buying a whole new electric bike.
Battery works fine, identical to the original. Rubber cover over the battery charging port does not fit into the port so the charging terminals are likely to be at risk during wet weather.
